40 Mélodies

L'album se démarque totalement des précédents projets de l'artiste puisque pour la première fois, Ibrahim propose un duo intimiste avec son ami et collaborateur de plus de 10 ans, le guitariste belge François Delporte. Le duo revisite les mélodies d'Ibrahim qui ont marqué les esprits, que ce soit sur ses albums comme sur ses bandes originales, mais aussi quelques titres inédits. Le tout avec l'apparition d'une ribambelle d'invités surprises prestigieux : Sting, Matthieu Chedid, Alfredo Rodriguez, Richard Bona, Trilok Gurtu, Husnu Senlendrici, Jon Batiste, Arturo Sandoval, et bien d'autres. Ibrahim revient donc à ses origines et à l'essentiel : une trompette, une guitare et 40 mélodies, pour fêter ses 40 ans.
