Note Générale : Pour cet album en hommage au musicien jazz Duke Ellington, Joe Jackson s'est entouré d'invités tels que Iggy Pop, Steve Vaï, Regina Carter et Sharon Jones et reprend des titres comme I'm Beginning to see the light, I Ain't Got Nothin' but the blues, I got it bad ou Mood Indigo. Par le passé le chanteur anglais avait déjà souvent puisé dans le jazz une source d'inspiration, on se souvient de l'album Jumpin' Jive en 1981 ou Body and Soul en 1984.
